Thanksgiving 2010

This year we were at the Garber's for Thanksgiving.  We've started a tradition of participating in a Thanksgiving Day Turkey trot at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.  This was our second year to participate and it was much colder this time than it was in 2008.  (Two years ago I looked a little different too)

Tim and I after the race.

Grandpa Dale and Grandma Jane walked with the girls.

The whole Garber Gang!
BURRRRRR!  It was 22 degrees that morning.  Way to be good sports everyone!

Grandma and the girls having dinner on the floor.

No wonder the girls love Auntie Gina!
Ellen was helping Gina make the "whoop" cream for the pies and Sophia got in on the licking action.

Ellen and Uncle Bryan doing the dishes.  She was such a helper that weekend.

More helping...stirring the pumpkin soup.

Ellen cutting the bread with Aunt Kristi and Grandma.  She was using her own Donald Duck (butter) knife.

Uncle Bryan getting in some Sophia time.

Our very own Maid Marian.  This whole Robin Hood thing is very exciting to her. : )

Getting together with Tim's family is always a good time.  This year the "kids" took an evening and went to the Plaza to have dinner and do a little shopping.  We had SO MUCH FUN!  We must make it a new tradition.

I thought I would give this blog thing a try. My plan is to use it as an online scrapbook for my family.
