St. Louis Zoo

Sunday, after church we went to the zoo with my parents. It was a really nice day to go because it wasn't too hot. It did rain on us just a little, but it could have been way worse.
Here are a few pictures of the animals that Ellen enjoyed seeing.
The hippo was swimming underwater and would come right up to the glass.
The Leopard was was pacing back and forth so this picture isn't zoomed in, it was actually that close. Most of the animals were out and about due to the cool weather which made it more enjoyable for Ellen.
As we entered the zoo Ellen started asking to see the elephant. Well, if we would have taken a left at the entrance instead of a right we would have seen them first thing. But instead it gave her something to look forward to. Here she is peeking over the fence at the elephants. She got a little freaked out when they started walking her way.

More animals

Ellen and PaPa riding on the carousel.
Ellen at the Penguin house. It was a very cool (45 degrees) place to see. The penguins were right there for you to see. You could see them swimming underwater and just walking around. This was one of my favorites!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Tim and I went to the Cardinals/Royals game on Saturday with our friends Mark and Nicole. It was the first time for me to go to the new park. If you look closely, Tim was the only Royals fan! It was a lot of fun and the Cards won 5-0!

New Pics

Check out the pictures Dustin took of the girls.

Grandma Dot and Grandpa Dot

My grandma and grandpa came by to visit and we had to take some pictures. As you can see, Ellen was tired of having pictures taken!

I titled this post as Grandma Dot and Grandpa Dot because Ellen kept calling Grandpa Audrey, Grandpa Dot. I thought it was pretty funny.

Just another fun sister picture

Happy Girl

Sophie has started to smile! It simply melts our hearts every time she does it! Thank you God for such small blessings. (and no, she wasn't smiling because of gas!)

Family Pic

We finally found time to take a family picture.

One month old

These pictures are of Ellen and Sophie at one month. We tried to take a picture of Ellen every month to see how she has grown. Now we take one of her on each birthday. Hopefully we'll be able to keep up with Sophie too. It's so fun to watch them grow!
You can tell they're sisters, but they don't look as much alike as everyone thinks.

Mother's Day

It's so hard to get a good picture of everyone at the same time!

Yard Work

Tim and my dad did a lot of yard work last weekend. They pulled out the big, outdated shrubs in the front and put in some more "up-to-date" plants. It looks really nice and changes the front of the house so much!

Funny Girl

Just a couple of funny pictures of Ellen!
