We have had some great fall weather here in Bolivar. The day we decided to carve our pumpkin it was beautiful outside!
Ellen chose the face of our pumpkin this year. This might be the last year that she is the only one with some input or we're going to have to do multiple pumpkins. : )
Tim got wise this year and got out his drywall saw to cut the top of the pumpkin off. We've had some serious trouble in the past with this step.
Sophia really liked touching the pumpkin. She would point and say, "EYES!"
Once we got the top off the pumpkin I tried to get the girls to jump in and help clean it out.
As you can see, that wasn't happening as quick as I thought it would.
Sophia again just wanted to point to the mess and not really get in there.
We finally convinced Ellen to try it. On the count of 3 she dove right in.
She was pretty proud of herself. Sophia eventually got in there and pulled out a few seeds.
She liked playing with the "goop" after it was out of the pumpkin instead.
